This policy describes what Recruiters Workforce collects from visitors to recruiterswf.com, from candidates who send a résumé, and from employers who send a requisition, and what the firm does with that information. It applies to this website and to contact with the firm by email and telephone. Questions about it can be sent to info@recruiterswf.com.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us
- Your name, company, work email address, telephone number, and the contents of a requisition, message or call. Employers who use the requisition builder assemble a summary in their own browser; it reaches the firm only if they email it.
- Candidate information you send
- Your résumé, the clearance level and investigation date you report, polygraph status, specialty, certifications, location, availability, work authorization and compensation expectations, together with the notes a recruiter takes during a screening call and the feedback an employer gives after an interview.
- Website records
- The pages requested, the time of each request, the IP address and the browser type, as recorded in standard web server logs by the hosting provider. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers.
How we use it
- To work requisitions: matching candidates to positions, arranging interviews, negotiating offers and completing placements.
- To contact you about positions, requisitions, interviews and offers, by the email address or telephone number you gave us.
- To keep the records that employment, tax and equal opportunity laws require for placements and for contract workers employed by the firm.
- To run and secure the website, including reviewing server logs for abuse.
Sharing
A candidate's résumé and screening summary are shared with an employer only after the candidate has agreed to be submitted to that named employer for that position. An employer's requisition is described to candidates only as far as is needed for them to decide whether to be submitted. Service providers that host the firm's email and website process data on the firm's instructions. Information is disclosed where the law requires it, for example to a court or a government agency with authority to demand it. Recruiters Workforce does not sell personal information and does not share it with data brokers or advertisers.
Retention
Résumés and screening notes are kept while a realistic prospect of a match exists and are deleted on request. Records of placements, and payroll records for contract workers employed by the firm, are kept for the periods that federal and state employment and tax law require. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for its standard period and are not retained by the firm.
Security
Personal information is held in access-controlled email and file systems used only by the firm's recruiters. Email is convenient and unencrypted, so the firm asks that nobody send Social Security numbers, dates of birth, identity documents, SF-86 content or classified or controlled information by email, and a recruiter will never request them that way. Anything of that kind received in error is deleted.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information the firm holds about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you can ask the firm to stop contacting you, by emailing info@recruiterswf.com or calling (512) 200-2912. The firm will confirm your identity before acting on a request and will answer within the time the applicable law allows. Deletion may be delayed where a record must be kept by law, for example a payroll record.
State privacy rights
Several states, including Texas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia, have consumer privacy laws that give residents rights over personal information held by covered businesses. Whether a particular law applies to Recruiters Workforce depends on that law's thresholds, and several of them exclude employment and applicant data. The firm honors the requests described above from residents of any state, does not sell personal information, and does not use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
Children
This website and the firm's services are for working professionals and employers. The firm does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and candidates must be of legal working age. If you believe a child has sent the firm personal information, email the address above and it will be deleted.
